What is Code Green?
Code Green is a campaign led by medical students and doctors for the healthcare field to tackle 'the biggest threat to global health this century'. Obstacles to good healthcare are already preventing sick people all over the world from accessing essential medical attention, and we, in conjunction with DEA and with your support, want to do something about it.
The campaign aims to:
- Educate the medical profession about the intricate relationship between climate change and health
- Empower health professionals to act on climate change
- Inform society about the impacts climate change will have on health and the health co-benefits ofaction on climate change
- Promote effective solutions to climate change.
